2019 Pre-Booking form Seiwakai England Judging and Refereeing course

Seiwakai England Sport has organised a World & European Kata Judge and Kumite Referee to come to England to deliver a course on Kumite Judging and Refereeing to WKF standards. There will also be a brief discussion on the new points kata system.

The course is open to anyone regardless of affiliation or association.

Ondrej Citenyi is an integral part of the Slovakian Karate Union and Referee Commission. He is Executive Secretary for International Relationships. Ondrej has an EKF (European Karate Federation) Judge A qualification in Kata and Referee A in Kumite, and a WKF (World Karate Federation) qualification Judge A in Kata and Referee A in Kumite. We are privileged to have people such as Ondrej in Seiwakai, an example of the talent we have in our International organisation.

The course is open to anyone regardless of affiliation or association. However to take the exam you must be 16 years old and above. (Please note: on passing, certification is awarded by Seiwakai England)

Saturday 2nd November (Kumite)
Registration: 10:30am
Theory 11am – 1pm
Exam: 1:15pm – 2pm
Practical & Assessment: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
De-brief: 4:30pm – 5pm
Finish: 5pm
Cost: £40

Venue: Lawdale Junior School, Mansford Street, Bethnal Green, E26LS.

For this course all Seiwakai England nationally qualified Kumite Referee and was an active judge/referee at the Seiwakai Open International Championships in November 2018 can attend the kumite course for 25% discount on the fee.

Table Officiating

Table officials will also have the opportunity to gain experience at this course concurrent with the refereeing and judging courses. There is no limit to the number of members who want to gain experience for table staff and officiating and certification of attendance is open to any member or related adult over the age of 16. The table staff and officiating course will run on a full day basis and involves a lot of hands on experience with the paperwork and equipment. Table Officiating is free for the whole day and qualification will allow participation at future events.
